Jumped on the Apple bandwagon and got myself an iPad. This thing is amazing!!! Only bad thing is that the camera on this sucks! But surfing the internet and using apps are awesome! It’s so fast! Definitely worth the money!

Came back from my biz trip in Seattle. The weather was horrible. Didn’t get to see much. 🙁

Yesterday was the T2 friends and family opening event. This new terminal looks really cool and the best part is that it’s all eco-friendly. Was a fun experience.

And I’m back! So the last time I blogged I was working a temp job – wow, that was almost a YEAR ago! Anyways, I have to tell ya my life has turned around 360 degrees. After two years of waiting, I FINALLY found a job….AND I’m loving it! I’m having so much fun. The people are super super nice…and am being appreciated for my work. I now believe everything happens for a reason…I just had to be patient!

I’ve been very busy the last 2 months, since I’ve started, with new projects! Yesterday, to celebrate meeting our rev goal, our company took us to play Trampoline Dodgeball at House of Air. It was SOOOOOOOOO much fun! I never thought it would be that awesome! I recommend this play if you are looking to have fun with a big group. I’m soooooooo sore though! After one game, it gets you panting…but what a great workout! Wish working out could be this fun everyday! haha!

I’ve been severely lacking on the whole gyming goal and have been eating out waaay too much. Gotta somehow start my routine again…its proving to be very hard! I’m going to try and make it a point to go starting next week after I get back from a business trip. Wish me luck on that goal! haha!

So, I have proven to be a HORRIBLE blogger. The last time I blogged was New Years.  Since then a lot has happened. Went to New York, went to India, Rhea graduated, Dad turned 60, I turned 27…and drum roll please…I’ve been going to the gym. Have lost 10 pounds and counting. OH, I also got a temp job. AR Rahman is coming to the Bay Area folks…get your tickets NOW!!!

Happy New Year to all! I have a feeling this year is going to be big for me. Hopefully! Lots has happened since I last posted.

Will keep it short:
Christmas was great at the Doctors’ house + ween came too! Had Lobster Thermidor, potatoes, & salad. Got lots of cool things! Same ole same ole stuff.
New Year’s Eve was great! The gals (yasu, weenie, rhe, paree) & I went to a yummy place called Creola (pic of table at left). Food was AMAZING!!!! Then we went clubbing to ring in the new year. Afterward, grabbed some more grub and went to weenie’s for the night. Next day, on New Years, had dinner with the fam.

So…that said…this new year is going to be MY year. Today is the start of my new life. I’ve signed up at the gym and going to finally start getting in shape. Enough is enough. I’m tired of my unhealthy lifestyle. Hopefully, I can stick to this mentality.

FYI…if you are looking for a new place to eat check out the Burger Bar. Its a fancy burger place by celebrity chef, Hubert Keller (was on Top Chef Masters). The burgers are FANTASTIC. AMAZING. MIND-BLOWING. I had the sliders, which were 3 different types of meat (buffalo, angus, country natural beef). Holy moly! Was damn good…esp. the buffalo with caramelized onions. The angus comes with bacon and the country natural comes with american cheese (picture at right). The rest of the burgers looks great too! Was a very happy customer.

So…keep forgetting to update this thing. A lot has happened over the last month. Thanksgiving was a little unconventional this year. Rhea was MAJOR sick so she couldn’t go. 🙁 So I stayed with her at home. She basically slept through the whole thing. haha! While she slept, I popped over to the Doctors’ house where we were having dinner. Had dinner and then came back home. This year, dinner was traditional. Turkey, bacon & chive mashed potatoes (made by moi…everyone loved it…me proud! haha!), salad, yams, cranberries, honey-baked ham (don’t be J Mistrys…will send some with mom hopefully! haha!), cream of corn; etc. etc. Was VERY yummy!

Next big thing…Mom and I went to her Holiday office party. Was a lot of fun. Food was good and there were fun things to do…like fortune tellers and photo booths. My psychic told me I was PSYCHIC (which I totally believe…I think things before it happens all the time…DON’T laugh!), that I was getting a job in 2 months (whoo-hoo) & that I would be married by 30. Don’t line up all at once, boys! haha!

Yesterday, I put up the Christmas tree decorations (pic on the left). Was a lot of fun. Even though I’m older now, xmas just brings out the youth in you. Have so many fun memories from the past. Sometimes miss being a child! 🙂

Anyways, hope the New Year brings in good positive vibes cuz 2009 SUCKED for me! My New Year’s resolution is to get healthy (i.e. loose weight) & not take things so seriously. I vow to listen more and give people the benefit of the doubt. I need to chillax! haha! Feel free to share your resolution too!

I’ve started designing earrings again! Its very therapeutic! I also decided to have a try at making my first official necklace to match. Tell me what you think. Pictures are from my iPhone so they aren’t the best and it can’t capture the beauty of the crystal but you get the gist of it.

The earrings are made out of sterling silver wiring with 4mm Swarovski Crystal bicones of Clear Crystal & 6mm Swarovski Crystal round Jet Black beads. The bottom of the earring is a Clear Crystal teardrop.

The necklace is made of the same components as above; however, includes a sterling silver chain attached to the top ands and a beautiful spring-ring clasp.

I went to the Cheesecake Factory yesterday with my old co-worker, Christina. Had fun catching up with her. I miss those days of having lunch and gossiping. Cheesecake was FAAABULOUS!

So…since the job search isn’t going so great…I’m thinking of new ideas. Perhaps I will try my hand at the online world. I’m thinking maybe gadget/iPhone/Twitter/Facebook, etc. way. Maybe directed at girls that will give them easy guides on how to work the world wide web and gadgets. I don’t know….we’ll see.

In other news, I’m going to be dabbling back into my old hobby of jewelry making. Gonna dust off those jewels. haha! I think I’m going to start cooking more too. Gotta get my mind off of not having a job. Its driving me CRAZY!!!

Ooh also, started going to the gym again. Feel soooooooo much better. I’m a little sore right now but the end result will make me feel fab!!!

Long over due…I know! Have been really lazy.

Rhea and I went to Mumbai from June to August. We had a blast. From eating on the street to eating at the malls…the fam really had fun this time.

The malls over there have really developed well…probably better than our malls here. Their food courts are like mini-restaurants with delicious food. They even have arcades. Brought out the youngster in me. haha!

So…I DID have my Golas, chutney sandwiches and my Frankies. Wasn’t as excited as I usually got when I had it. Weird. But it was good. Esp. my Frankies. YUM! I think it wasn’t as exciting because my stomach never adjusted to the food this year. I’m usually pigging out on everything…but this time couldn’t enjoy. Food seemed so heavy. Must be the weather.

Have been out of town the last two months. Will blog about my india trip tomorrow.

Seriously! I’ve become a vampire! I stay up ALL night and sleep in the morning/afternoon. I HATE THIS! I NEED A JOB!!! Well, at least I get to catch up with family/friends in India. I’m technically on their time and I love talking to my sista-from-another-motha’ Ayesha. She cracks me up and I try not laugh at 5 in the morning. I think the two of us should have our own reality show together. We’d make MILLIONS!!! haha!

Today is my Dad’s birthday! Happy Birthday daddy!!! In honor of him, I awoke from the dead at a reasonable hour…after probably sleeping 3 hours. He should feel honored! Anyways, we went to my fave restaurant the Old Port Lobster Shack. He loves Lobster Bisque, so there ya go! It was for him…totally not for me! *wink wink!*

My sister, Rhea, has her FINAL exam today! Whoo-hoo!!! Good luck, sissy! You’ll do great! That aside, I’m just happy she’s comin home for the summer. I miss her soooooooooooo much during the school year!

In other news, I arranged my jewelry collecting and am going to start making earrings again, and maybe necklaces/bracelets this time too. Will keep you posted!!!
